We were looking for an apartment after moving to Amsterdam and after struggling to find one ourselves decided to reach out to agencies for help. Hendriks is by far the best and most professional and supportive agency we interacted with. We were lucky enough to have Mo help us on our search and she was always on top of everything and quick to answer any of our questions ( and there were a lot) even on weekends or in evenings. Cannot recommend them enough and now we have a home in Amsterdam that fit all our needs. Under budget, prime location, spare room etc. Thanks heaps Hendriks and Mo specifically.

Coming from Canada to study in the Netherlands was a big adjustment, and the stress of finding a place to live was yet another problem to worry about. From being turned away from apartment after apartment, I was beginning to feel hopeless in my search - especially considering universities tell you not to come to Amsterdam unless you have a place to live!

After finding Hendriks Housing, I was matched with Mo, a realtor who would best understand my needs as a young, single woman in a new city. She was able to take so much pressure off of the moving process, showing me listing after amazing listing. She was kind, understanding, and supportive during the entire process, turning my stress into excitement.

In the end, I was able to find a picturesque studio apartment (significantly under budget!) in the Jordaan district. I have had fellow university students over and they are baffled as to how I was able to get such an amazing apartment! Some of my friends are paying the same amount as me for much less space and way out of the city centre.

10/10 recommend Hendriks Housing, as they are a supportive, affordable realtor who will help you find your dream place to live in Amsterdam.

After being awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study in Amsterdam following my graduation from Harvard, I was ecstatic about the move. But the very first thing I heard—from fellow Fulbrighters, the Netherlands Fulbright Commission, and Dutch friends—was just how difficult it is to find housing in Amsterdam.

I recently relocated to The Netherlands and was hit with the reality of how tough it is to find a place to live and everyone was telling me thats a 2 to 3 months usually.
